Statement of Faith

 While we share the Pentecostal experience with all other Pentecostals we are Apostolic in practice and therefore hold the following key beliefs firmly:

1. Repentance from Sin ( Acts 2v38-39, St John 3v4, Romans 6v23, Revelations 20v14 )

2. Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ ( Acts 2:38, Acts 4v12, St Matthew 1v21 )

3. Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the sign of speaking in Tongues ( St John 3v5, St John 14v26, Acts 2v1-4, Acts 2v39, Joel 2v28-29 )

4. There is one God who was manifested as Father (in creation), as Son (in redemption) and Holy Spirit (in the church) ( 1 John 5v7, 2 Corinthians 3v17, Isaiah 44v6, 1 Timothy 3v16, Revelation 1v8 )

5. A life of Holiness and humility ( St John 8v11, Hebrews 12v14, Romans 12v1, James 4v4 )

6. Looking for the return of Jesus Christ ( 1 Thessalonians 4v15, 1 Corinthians 15v52, 2 Peter 3v10-12 )

7. We share with other churches the social and political ideas that make for justice and Christian living and charitable activities in our community for the good of all mankind.
