Prayer

At the Bibleway gospel churches prayer is conducted at various times throughout the service. Sometimes one person prays, sometimes it is a united prayer where selected groups are asked to participate.

Prayer is the verbal form of communication with God. There are different types of ways which is described by Paul the apostle in his letters to the Philippian church and to Timothy.

Philippians 4v6

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

 1 Timothy 2v1,2

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority;

 

These are a few types of ways that we verbally communicate with God.

Remember, God here's them all.

We also  pray for our family, church and people in the community, especially those who are in authority making decisions, as encouraged in the scripture above.

The church conducts a daily online Early Morning Prayer Meeting between 6am and 7am which you are welcome to join.
